Diptyque L'Ombre dans l'Eau Eau de Parfum is a unisex floral perfume. In her garden Mrs Merwin, a friend of the creators of Diptyque, cut the cassis and rose bushes to add them to her pot pourri. The combination of cassis leaves and rose petals was the inspiration for L'Ombre dans l'Eau, one of Diptyque's most famous fragrances. Top notes are characterized by the Bulgarian rose to which are added the green notes of the leaves of cassis, which give it a pleasant freshness. The shadows of its name are balanced by freshness, a memory of a lush garden at the edge of the water.
